My symptoms began around March of 2019. I initially developed spontaneous chronic hives in several areas of my body. Not knowing what to do I sought advice from my doctor who recommended that I tried changing blood pressure medication. This was around September 2019. This did little to help as later on I developed dermatographia in 2020.
My illness continued will into 2021. Starting on January 6, 2021 my face began to swell. 5 to 7 days after that my feet and knees began to swell. 5 to 7 days after that my face began to swell again and about a week after that my eyes began to swell. From here, I looked for any solution, so I started allergy treatments that February. Around this time, I also started the medication Prednisone. In just a couple of days. The swelling started back up. This time affecting my legs. At the same time, I started to experience some side effects of the Prednisone. I experienced low blood sugar, muscular pain, dizziness, and abdominal pain. All at the same time as the hives continued to manifest over my body. Not even taking Allegra or Zyrtec twice a day could alleviate the pain. The only reprieve I got was from the swelling due to taking a Benadryl for three days. As time went on, I changed my diet and stopped taking Allegra and Zyrtec as needed. My eyes continued to be irritated, but swelling went down.
Eventually, after 2 years and 3 months, the hives stopped burning and itching due to taking Xolair.

Dermatographia is a skin condition that causes redness and welt to appear on the skin.
Again, we are NOT medical professionals. These are resources that I have found that have assisted me.
